New Beginnings

Dear Friends, Family - and those who are stumbling upon this page:

Welcome to the new blog!

For a while now, the old blog site, “Eat, Drink, and Be Married” hasn’t really fit. Well…a while now: 3 years, to be exact. …and, as my life has grown since Dan’s death, the url “dannyboyandjgirl” didn’t quite fit anymore either.

But, goodbyes are hard.

…and letting go, even harder.

Some might call this a new page. a new chapter. a new beginning.

Some call it progress.

Some call it forward.

The old-guard, the out-of-touch call it “on” - as in moving on.

What do I call it?

I don’t know…stepping into myself. Stepping toward life. Embracing the possibilities of what is to come.

Yes. This blog is a step toward embracing what is to come - while treasuring in my heart all that has been.

Yes. This is “jessicakiesling.me” - and those sentences above are probably the truest encapsulation of me I’ve yet to write.
